As you all know, the 16th ESA Conference will be held in Porto from the 27th of August to the 1st of September. The conference programme consists of 928 sessions, including a diversity of speakers from different latitudes and covering a wide range of topics. This edition of the conference, finally back in presence, will be a successful space for learning and debate.
Our RN received more than 50 papers that have been reviewed by two different Board Members and the RN Sessions’ programme, already available via Conftool, will soon be available in the Pdf version.
We covered all the RN thematic tracks organized in 12 sessions along all the conference days. We also organized 2 Joint Sessions, with RN37 on “Tackling the housing crisis: a view on urban Homelessness from the South of Europe” (JS RN27/RN37 on August 28th at 11.00am-12.30 am) and with RN38 on “Resilient Places and Communities in time of turbulence: views/perspectives from the Southern Europe” (JS RN27/RN38 on august 28th at 2.30 pm-4.00pm)
The RN is also responsible for a Semi Plenary on “Homelessness and Housing distress in Europe” (SP16 – 30th August 9.00am 10.30am).
We are all invited to the Conference Opening on the 27th of August, at Super Bock Arena / Palácio de Cristal. A welcome drink and celebrations of the ESA 30th Anniversary with the ESA Past Presidents will follow the Plenary Sessions.
